Patience.

If there’s one thing I have to say about pregnancy, it would be that it’s uncontrollable/unpredictable. Yes you can take such measures to control the symptoms you get but WHEN they occur is a whole different story. It’s all about listening to your body and responding appropriately. Anyway my estimated due date is on Oct. 14th which is drawing near! I honestly hoped that I would go into labor sooner though but it obviously isn’t up to me. This is really testing my patience and getting me even more anxious…I’m typically the “planner” type so you can just imagine how excruciating this is. I’m afraid I may have to get induced which is the least of my favor. Pls. Sophia come out now mommy wants to hold you already!

making these seems so far-fetched for now. don’t even know where to get the ingredients. just gonna have to accept that they’re made to be eaten by me and not baked! hahah anyway aren’t they so pretty?!

Today marks two things: my last day at work and I’ve reached 37 weeks meaning baby is full term! And according to the bump.com, she weighs around 6 lbs. and is the size of a watermelon yikes! It’s just the waiting game now, she could be out anytime in the next couple of weeks!!

the home stretch.

About a month or so left and I’m starting to freak out! I always play different scenarios in my head of how everything would happen. Where and when will my water break? How long will I be in labor? Delivery complications…etc. Most people would skip the whole thought of it but I sometimes tend to think of the worst possibilities because once you’ve imagined it, then anything that actually happens won’t seem as bad (or at least I hope not). Of course, I don’t let those things worry or stress me out. Ultimately I know that whatever obstacles I have to go through will be worth it!

Just finished reading this book. I would recommend it to all expecting moms. It’s so funny and easy to read because you can literally relate to everything she talks about. Anyway, I feel so ready to pop! “Nesting” or organizing all of Sophia’s stuff and turning the room into a mini nursery was quite fun. I can’t wait to get her in these cute little dresses and headbands too!!
